Being on Police Bail
It is often the case that having been interviewed, perhaps unrepresented or perhaps with a solicitor present, people are released on bail by the police.
This can be a distressing and upsetting time as often bail can be extended for many weeks and months, it is important that your criminal solicitor addresses any developments in your case and is proactive in pursuing the police in the conduct of your case. Too often cases are simply left to slide and stagnate without any proactive action being taken.
We pride ourselves on being proactive, constructive and insightful as to the line of enquiries which are often required in a criminal case. If you have been on bail for a considerable length of time it’s perhaps worth asking what your solicitors are currently doing for you and whether advice ought to be sought elsewhere.
